After Catron discovers she’s an Incantor, an artisan with the ability to create magical objects, she’s desired by every magician and monarch in the land. When a dangerous western kingdom kidnaps her roommate, she knows it is her they are truly after. With Azer and Fivlon by her side, she will travel over the mountains to an unknown city to rescue her friend.
Soon a magician from the academy appears to aid in the rescue. Catron is thankful for the help of someone who can use her magical objects, despite the protests of her companions.
